Notices - 19th October 2025 - 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time

1. The Divine Mercy Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 24th at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome.

2. MISSION SUNDAY is celebrated today. Envelopes for Mission Sunday offerings are available near the altar. The cafeteria and raffle will be held in aid of the Missions. Communities will be offering various food items for sale. Parishioners are kindly requested to support and patronize these initiatives.

3. In aid of the Missions, an Auction of the Sarees draped around the statue of Our Blessed Mother will be held tomorrow/today at 10 am in the School Hall. All parishioners are warmly encouraged to attend and participate in this auction in large numbers as a gesture of faith and support for the Missions.

4. Sunday School is pleased to present VACATION BIBLE JOY, a three-day program for students from Standard I to IX, to be held from October 21st to 23rd, between 9 am and 1 pm. All children are encouraged to participate in this enriching and faith-filled experience.

5. The Johannian Stalwarts are having their get-together for all our parish Senior citizens on October 23rd from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Baptist Hall, JWC. Registration of ₹50 can be made in the Parish Office.

6. The Annual Thanksgiving Mass of St. Anthony Community and St. John Paul II Community will be celebrated on Saturday, October 25th at 7:00 pm in the church. A community get-together will follow the celebration.

7. Annual Thanksgiving Mass of St. Theresa Little Flower Community Rautheri, will be celebrated on Sunday, October 26th at 5:30 pm in the church, followed by a get-together in the school hall.

8. Holy Masses for the Solemnity of All Saints on November 1st will be celebrated at 6:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Kindly note that the 7:00 pm Mass is for the Solemnity of All Saints, and not the anticipated Sunday Mass. The Sunday mass obligation is not fulfilled for this mass.

9. Holy Masses for the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day) on November 2nd will be held at the following times:
a. Morning: 7:00 am, 8:00 am, and 9:00 am
b. Evening: 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, and 7:30 pm
Please note that the 9:00 am Mass will be celebrated at the cemetery.

10. The Johannian Youth will set up food, flower, and candle stalls on All Souls’ Day, after all Masses. The proceeds will support youth activities and initiatives. We kindly ask all parishioners to support the youth by visiting these stalls and offering encouragement. Additionally, flowers and candles will be available for purchase on November 1st from 4:00 pm onwards for those who wish to decorate the graves and niches of their loved ones in advance.

11. Parishioners who wish to assist in organizing the Feast of St. Francis Xavier on December 3rd are requested to give their names at the Parish Office.
