Notices - 13th December 2025 - 3rd SUNDAY OF ADVENT

1. The ADVENT CONFESSIONS for our parish will be held on December 18th, 19th, and 20th. For detailed timings and additional information, kindly refer to the Parish notice board or the main parish groups.

2. Wednesday, December 24th, Christmas carol singing will begin at 7:45 pm, followed by the Christmas Vigil Mass on the church grounds. Parking for two-wheelers will be available in the basement, and parking for four-wheelers will be provided in the JWC area. Kindly cooperate with the Ushers.

3. Thursday, December 25th, Christmas Day Masses will be at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 am.  Please be advised: There will be NO evening Mass on that day.

4. The passes for our parish feast celebrations, JOHANNIAN FIESTA, to be held on December 27th, are now available at the Parish Office and with your respective Community Animators, priced at ₹50. We warmly encourage all parishioners to participate in large numbers and join us in this joyous celebration.

5. The Parish will solemnly celebrate the Feast of our Patron, St. John the Evangelist, on Sunday, December 28th, at the 9:00 am Mass. Deacon Ivan Fernandes will serve as the preacher for the occasion. All parishioners are invited for this solemn mass. Please be advised: There will be NO evening Mass on that day.

6. The Johannian Stalwarts Senior Citizens is organizing a Christmas Ball on Tuesday, December 30th from 7:00 pm onwards in the School Hall. Passes priced at Rs.200/- are available in the Parish Office.

7. On Wednesday, December 31st, there will be Holy Hour at 11:00 pm, followed by Mass in the church. On Thursday, January 1st—New Year’s Day—we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. Masses will be held at 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 am. Please be advised: There will be NO evening Mass on that day.

8. St. John Konkani Samudai, will be conducting Talent Competition on Sunday, January 11th at 10 am in the School hall. Those who wish to take part, kindly register their names with the Samudai members.

9. Prison Ministry Mumbai volunteers have put up a Christmas articles stall in the church compound made by children from the Dongri and Matunga Juvenile homes. We encourage all our parishioners to visit and support their efforts.

10. The SSVP will make their monthly collection in the church compound after all the Sunday masses.
