1.     This Fri, March 31 Way of the Cross by St Jude’s Community, Oleria.

 

2.     Palm Sunday, on April 02, marks the beginning of the Holy Week.

The blessing of palms is at 6:45 a.m. on the grounds, followed by Mass in the Church. 

After the 5:30 p.m. Mass procession to the grounds, followed by singing of Veronica’s Canticle and a sermon in Marathi.

 

3.     The Konkani Mission begins on Mon, March 27 after the evening Mass & ends on Wed, March 29. The mass each day will be in Konkani.

 

4.     Parking during the masses, especially Sunday, is available on the church grounds. We request you all to pass on this information.

 

5.     All those intending to get married are required to do the IN-PERSON Marriage Preparation Course. Online MPC courses will no longer be accepted.

 

6.     Confessions in our parish will be from 30th March to 1st April. There will be guest priests on all the three days. For further information kindly refer to the Lenten Calendars provided, or the Notice board.

 

7.     The Johannian Youth will have their meeting on Sunday, 2nd April at 10:30 am in the school hall. Requesting the current 10th std students to be there for this meeting.

 

8.     The Johannian Youth are organizing SUMMER DHAMAKA from 3rd to 13th May 2023 for all our parish children. The registration forms are available at the youth desk next to the grotto and also in the Parish office. Limited seats available. For further details kindly contact Fr Harry.

 

9.     Vacancies for teachers, at St. John the Evangelist School in both Primary & Secondary section. Those who completed De.Ed, Be.Ed with TET can apply.

 

10.  Those interested in giving their ads in the Easter issue of the Johannian Jottings kindly approach Fr Harry or check the notice board.

 

11.  Midnight Stations of the Cross on the bicycle is being organized by Cycle Revolution on Sat, April 01st. Those interested please check the notice board.

 

12.  Senor Citizen of our parish is organizing an Easter Get-together on Thu, April 13 from 5.30 to 7.30 pm in School Hall. Registration Rs. 50/ can be done at the parish office, latest by Mon, April 10.

 

 

13.  We welcome parishioners who wish to join as Catechists. Kindly fill a form in the parish office latest by Fri, April 14.
